#EducationIsNotACrime

The art mural project began in earnest on August 25th. My goal was to bring awareness to #EducationIsNotACrime, a movement to end  discrimination in education currently happening in Iran. Building on that, I hoped to highlight the importance of education here in the United States. Along with help from the Mobile Arts Council, we reached out to local at risk girls. I hoped we could embolden them to pursue whatever career they would like through education. On____________ the display was unveiled in Downtown Mobile. Many Mobilians came to show support and many were educated about the campaign.
